What projects have we successfully completed

Projects

  • UAB "Getweb" together with colleagues from the universities VILNIUS TECH (Lithuania), RTU (Latvia) and TALTECH (Estonia) is implementing the project "Studies of housing decarbonization in the fields of climate, health and work"

UAB "Getweb" together with colleagues from the universities VILNIUS TECH (Lithuania), RTU (Latvia) and TALTECH (Estonia) is implementing the project "Housing Decarbonisation Skills for Climate, Health and Jobs, Skills4Deca" under the Digital Europe programme.

The total value of the project is EUR 5,515,908.85.

During the 4th year of the project, it is planned to update the bachelor's and master's programs of the three Baltic countries, adding about 50 micro-courses to them. The competences of teachers (while creating micro-courses) and students will be raised in the following areas: artificial intelligence, "cloud computing", data management, "augmented reality", "internet of things", photonics. The acquired skills will enable the use of digital technologies in the housing decarbonisation sector in areas such as green materials, construction, energy efficiency, health, legal documents (regulations) and finance.

The complete team will deliver advanced digital content, conduct hands-on sessions, training and workshops. During the implementation of the project, teachers will be trained, and scholarships will be awarded to students.

You can follow the entire project implementation process on the project website and social networks.

  • UAB "Getweb" has implemented the EU-funded project "Search for partners for international R&D initiatives in the field of development of information/computer systems/technologies in EIT events".

UAB "Getweb" has implemented the EU-funded project No 01.2.1-LVPA-T-844-01-0135 "Search for partners for international R&D initiatives in the field of development of information/computer systems/technologies in EIT events". The total value of the project is EUR 18.787,78. The project is financed by the European Regional Development Fund.

UAB "Getweb" is active in the information technology market and is active in the development, maintenance and support of IT systems and websites. Recently, the company has been focusing on the development of IT systems for business process management. In order to remain competitive, the company does not have sufficient internal resources to effectively develop IT and business process management services. It is therefore necessary to develop international cooperation in the field of R&D&I and to try to exploit the opportunities offered by EU R&D&I initiatives/programmes.

The aim of the project is to develop international partnerships and networking by seeking opportunities to participate in international EU R&D&I initiatives through the EIT.

By participating in events of international R&D&I initiatives, which are made available by the EIT organisations, it will be hoped to find partners to participate in one or more specific international EU R&D&I programmes (Cosme; SME Intrument; Horizon2020, Eureka; Eurostars; etc.). Taking into account that successful participation in a specific international R&D&I initiative depends not only on the potential and objectives of one organisation, but also on the potential and objectives of the potential project partners brought together, the search for opportunities to develop R&D&I internationally will not be limited to a single EU R&D&I programme, but will seek to take advantage of the potential of all the initiatives/programmes identified, which, by their provisions, encourage or do not restrict the development of project-based initiatives to develop R&D&I projects related to the development and deployment of information/computer-based systems/technologies and to the processing of information.

The EIT events will seek to establish contacts with international partners (research and study institutions; companies; clusters) that are developing R&D&I activities in one of the following areas: (a) Information and Communication Technologies; (b) Cyber Security; (c) eGovernment; (d) Artificial Intelligence Solutions (e) Automation; (f) Information Resources and Data Security Technologies; (g) Big Data Processing Technologies; (h) Open Data Services etc. International partner - an entity operating in the EU and/or associated countries necessary for the development of joint activities, i.e. the development of services, products or systems by pooling the skills, experience and working methods of partners.

As a mobilising factor for the partners to cooperate, the applicant will have a project-based R&D&I initiative which would focus on the development of R&D&I activities to (a) research methods and tools for cyber security solutions; (b) develop and deploy e-safety models; (c) research and develop effective document, customer relationship and process safety management technologies; (d) research and develop data virtualisation, cloud computing, digital media technologies focused on modelling, optimisation and automation of data safety processes, etc.

It is expected that active participation in the events will lead to the signing of at least one agreement with the international partners, i.e. a legally binding contract/agreement binding the Applicant and the international partner to jointly apply for international R&D&I initiatives/programmes.

  • UAB "Getweb" has implemented the EU-funded project "Competence Development of Getweb UAB Professionals".

UAB "Getweb" has implemented the EU-funded project "Competence Development of Getweb UAB Professionals", No 09.4.3-ESFA-T-847-01-0006. The total value of the project is EUR 37.084,99. Of which EUR 25.959,49 are from the European Union Structural Funds.

The investment for the implementation of the project has been granted under the implementation measure No. 09.4.3-ESFA-T-847 "Inostažuotė" of the Operational Programme for Investment of the European Union Funds for the period 2014-2020, Priority 9, "Public Education and Increasing the Potential of Human Resources".

UAB "GetWeb" is active in the information technology market and is active in the field of development, maintenance and support of IT systems and web-based products. Recently, the company has been focusing on the development of IT systems for business process management. The IT sector is currently very dynamic, and various innovative solutions are constantly being developed. In order to remain competitive on the market, the company must constantly follow new trends in the IT sector, analyse customer needs and develop new and innovative services and products.

The company has its own development strategy, which includes the development of new products - Smart Contracts. This product is based on blockchain technology. The company also plans to incorporate blockchain technology into existing products (such as CRM applications, etc.), making them much more functional and innovative. It is also planned to apply blockchain technology and its expertise in the company's research activities and projects. As the company's specialists do not have the necessary expertise in the application and implementation of blockchain technology, the company is forced to either refuse to develop solutions based on this technology or to purchase such services from third parties, which is an inefficient and rather expensive alternative. Therefore, it is necessary to use international cooperation in the field of R&D&I and to try to take advantage of the experience of foreign R&D&I companies and to transfer the competences of blockchain technology available in those companies to their own employees through training.

The aim of this project is to increase the skills and competences of 5 specialist software engineers in a company to work with new IT technologies (blockchain technology) and to acquire the necessary professional skills in a foreign company in Germany. The German company has been selected as a company with extensive experience in the use of blockchain technology, which has developed solutions based on this technology, exactly as the applicant plans to develop. The applicant's employees will be trained in the foreign company during 5 days of training on the main features of blockchain technology, its adaptation to the products developed, and its application to the development of new solutions. This knowledge will enable the employees and thus the company to start offering new innovative or newly adapted IT products and solutions to the market and to apply them in research activities and projects.
